Saturday, February 29 | Barton Creek Green Belt 10am This is a moderate, choose your own distance trail. It is VERY popular and parking can be tricky, so you may want to arrive a little early. Parking is street parking of an exit ramp, so be careful of people getting in and out of their cars. The first 1/2 mile is very popular and crowded, but the farther in you go, the less people you will see. This is also a dog friendly trail.
Sunday, March 8 | Williamson Park Nature Trail, 1pm This is an easy, 3ish mile (there are numerous spurs, so if people want go longer they can) loop hike located at Southwest Williamson Park (off Sam Bass Rd-county road 175). It has very smooth terrain, but can get a little muddy if you take some of the spurs. This is also a very popular trail with cyclists, but they are normally very friendly and respectful on the trail. This is also a dog friendly trail.
Saturday, March 14 | Milton Reimer Ranch Park, 10am This is a beautiful park located near Dripping Springs. It is well worth the drive for the panoramic views overlooking the Pedernales River. There is a $5/person (12 and under free) entry fee (cash only) There are many trails for us to choose from, so we will meet at the River Bend Parking lot to decide where to go. This is also a dog friendly trail.
Sunday, March 22 | Trailhead Park Trail, 1pm This is an easy 4.5mile hike (if we walk along the side walk to make a loop verse going out and back, it shortens the hike to about 3 miles) located at Trailhead Park (located in he Canyon Creek neighborhood off FM 620) This trail is also dog friendly.
Saturday, March 28 | Pace Bend Park, 10am A moderate 6mile hike near lake Travis in Spicewood. I have been wanting to try this hike since moving to Austin, but heard there were spiders!! So if anyone wants to come brave the spiders with me, that would be amazing! It is also a dog friendly trail.
