Joining LiveOak Church

Everybody is welcome!

So are you interested in connecting with our church family? We have a special process we follow to welcome men, women, and their families into the life of the church.

Here's the process...

The "Everybody is Welcome" Card

Located in the seat pocket behind each seat in our sanctuary is a blue card entitled, "EVERYBODY IS WELCOME". Fill it out and place it in one of the boxes in the church lobby.

You can also text "Welcome" to 512-400-3554 if interested in joining with us.

Attend Inquirer's Class

Every quarter (4 times a year), we host an Inquirer's (or New Members) class for anybody interested in formally joining with LiveOak Church. This is your chance to learn all about LiveOak Church: our history, who we are, what we believe, and more.

Meet with LiveOak Leadership

Before officially joining with LiveOak Church, inquirers meet with the Session of the church (our leadership team) for a brief introduction and to officially be welcomed into the life of LiveOak.

Received into Membership

The last step for new members is to be welcomed into the life and fellowship of LiveOak Church in worship before the congregation. Vows are made at this time on behalf of the new members and the congregation.
